What do you do with that extra fabric that you have left over? You just bought a darling print, and you want to make a super cute bralette. Let's make that easy. Buy a Jordy Bralette Finishing Kit and make a Jordy! One kit contains all the elastics and other supporting items to make a Jordy. Remember, you'll also need your under-fabrics like Sheer Cup Lining. You might have extras, or you can ask us to dye them up with your findings and send them along. If you are using a decorative lace all the way to the edge, as shown in the light purple Shakespear, you will probably want picot elastic. For a knit bralette, one with foam, or lace placement such as the Cherry Crush example, Foldover elastic will probably be your best bet.
One kit contains:
- 1 1/2 yards of 3/8" Band Elastic or Foldover Elastic
- 1 1/4 yards of 1 1/4" Wide Plush Elastic
- (Upgrade to 2" Plush with a 3 hook and eye unit)
- 1 Mini 2 Hook and eye unit
- 1 1/2 yards of 1/2" strap elastic plus rings and slides
Please note that this kit includes strap elastic and rings and slides as a regular part of the kit. Our Bra Finishing Kit gives several strap options, which is why the pricing of the 2 types of kits is inconsistent.
If you want to use 2" wide plush in place of the standard 1.25", check the box for a small upcharge which includes a 3 hook and eye unit instead of the Mini 2. If you like the look of the Ultra-wide lingerie elastic, leave us a note. This will require switching to the 3 hook and eye as well, put the elastic price is lower than the wide plush elastics, so it equals out.
