The Bee on a Wire experience is a wonderful opportunity for those looking to perfect their fit! The Wearable Muslin Kit contains all the right fabrics-Microduoplex, Sheer Cup Lining, and Power Net to practice getting your wired bra customized to fit. The Smaller kit will accommodate up size 42 wire, and the Larger will work for sizes over 42. Those in the very smallest sizes will almost certainly want to make the pattern option that calls for a foam cup. This pattern uses cut and sew covered in Microlycra Air for the cups, and Microduoplex for the frame. Depending upon your cup size, you may be able to sew multiple cups from one kit cut of foam and one kit cut of Air- so it will be up to you whether you want white Air for your white bra and dyed Air for your dyed bra, or how you would like to best utilize your materials. If you are not sure yet which option you will be sewing, or if one kit cut of each (foam and Air) will accommodate your cup size, you may wish to add foam and Air to both kits to have everything on hand!
The Smaller kit will accommodate up size 42 wire, and the Larger will work for over size 42 - with enough fabric and findings to accommodate your "Final Project" for the experience. Add lace for Step 3 if you like!
This dyed kit contains 2 strap sizes, 2 lower band elastic sizes, and 2 upper band elastic types, as well as 2 hook and eye unit sizes, so you will have everything at your fingertips when the class begins! You may want to add on Matching thread. Select the size wire you now know you will need, because you have completed Step 1!
London Fog kits will receive Smoke & Mirrors tulle lace, while supplies last, with the option of Plum Pudding for your second set of findings. Chickie will receive Under the Arbor tulle lace while supplies last. All other colors will receive a lovely floral dye-to-match stretch lace.
