Those who've been garment sewing know the name Cashmerette! Specializing in sewing for curves, Cashmerette has now expanded their sewing line of patterns to include a wider ranges of sizes and most recently, LINGERIE! We are offering kits for their new pattern, the Willowdale, and we couldn't be more excited!
This Summertime Willowdale features our stretch mesh lace, Summertime. Having a stretch lace with an embroidered motif is something special, and we're delighted to be able to share this with you! Our Featured Artist Liz made up this Willowdale with our Summertime kit, and chose Fern as her accent color. She placed the lace on the upper cup as normal, but then she matched the pattern along the seam and overlaid the lace over the lower portion of the bra cup and gathered it along the bottom, a perfect option if you've got a gorgeous lace you want to showcase. You can also dart the lace along the bottom edge and achieve the same uninterrupted pattern without the gathers. I like the gathers with this feminine lace. Summertime coordinates with Ariel, Glacier, Fern, Rosy Glow and Limeade. This lace is super wide, and we're including a generous 2 yards to allow you lots of options. I think it would be lovely along the power bar, with the lace edge facing toward the center of the cup. You can also make a darling pair of matching undies! If you plan to make your matching panty with the Cashmerette Radcliffe, a smaller kit will use 1/2 yard and a larger kit will use 3/4 yard of lace. We'll follow your choices for your bra kit in your panty kit, so either all one color or with an accent, unless you tell us differently.
